Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Stars in Groundhog Day-Inspired Big Game Ad

Jeep Super Bowl Commercial 2020

Have you ever woken up with a feeling like you’re doing the same thing on a different day? And now imagine that the same thing occurs 27 years later in some sort of warp in the space-time continuum.

Well, that’s what happened in Jeep’s commercial during the Big Game! Except there’s a twist: a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is present to make repeating the same day every day even better.

Bill Murray reprises his role as news anchor Phil Connors who kidnap Punxsutawney Phil once again, but this time uses the Gladiator Rubicon as his getaway vehicle. Both man and groundhog looked to be enjoying their ride in our brand’s truck as they enjoy their Groundhog Day doing a number of activities.

And that includes running into his old friends Stephen Tobolowsky & Brian Doyle Murray reprising their respective roles of Ned Ryerson & Buster Green. Waking up at 6 am to Sonny & Cher’s “I Got You Babe” in Punxsutawney PA never gets old as long as you have a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon to drive.
